Epsom hero Serpentine heads the betting for Grand Prix de Paris
Published:While Stradivarius is odds-on for Foy success.
Serpentine, not seen out since his runaway Investec Derby victory, heads the betting for Sunday’s Grand Prix De Paris at 5/4, in their opening show in the rescheduled Longchamp Group One.
“Having landed the Investec Derby at the largely unconsidered odds of 25/1 on his last start, we now make Serpentine a warm favourite to prove that Epsom victory wasn’t a fluke by winning his second Group One on Sunday,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
Also on Sunday’s Longchamp card is the Prix Foy, for which star stayer Stradivarius is Coral’s 8/11 market leader.
“The three-time Gold Cup winner shouldn’t have too many problems dropping back to a mile and a half for Sunday’s Arc trial, and is odds/on to book his place in the big one with victory in the Foy,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
