England cut to 10-1 for Euro 2016 success

England have been cut into 10-1 from 12-1 by leading bookmaker Coral to win Euro 2016 following the draw for the tournament this afternoon. Hosts France are the new 11-4 favourites (from 7-2) to go all the way after being handed a reasonable group, Germany are available at 10-3 and Spain can be backed at 9-2.

Coral make England 5-6 to win Group B, Wales are 5-1 to top the group and 4-6 to qualify for the last 16. Republic of Ireland are evens to make it through to the last 16, while Northern Ireland are 11-5 to get through to the knockout stage of the competition.

“England will be fairly happy with their group and should qualify with ease therefore we have trimmed their odds in the outright betting for the tournament,” said Coral spokesman, John Hill.

“France are now the clear favourites to go all the way as hosts as they could not have hand-picked a better group,” added Hill.

“The odds suggest England and Wales should both qualify from Group B,” continued Hill.
