England 5-4 to top world Test ranking by end of 2016

Leading bookmaker Coral make England 5-4 to be the number one ranked Test team in the world by the end of 2016 following their Ashes victory over Australia this morning.
Coral has also opened up betting on England’s Tour of South Africa this winter. The hosts, South Africa, are 8-11 favourites to win the Test series, England can be backed at 5-2, while the draw is 7-2.
“The next aim for this England team after their Ashes win will be to return to the top of the world Test ranking and our odds suggest there is a very good chance they will do that by the end of 2016,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“Like this recent Ashes series, England are outsiders going into their Test series in South Africa this winter, a country they have often struggled in but, they will be full of confidence following their win over Australia,” added Hill.
