Will it be déjà-vu in this weekend’s racing?

Following the final declarations, the odds are in with Coral for the Prix de l’Arc de Triumphe and Prix de l’Abbaye at Longchamp this weekend. And last year’s respective winners head the betting again.

John Gosden’s filly Enable is even-money favourite in the Arc, having won seven races in succession ahead of this weekend.

Next-best is Sea of Class at 10/3, with Waldgeist (7/1) and Kew Gardens (10/1) the only other contenders priced at shorter than 25/1.

In the day’s L’Abbaye, it’s fellow British-trained horse Battaash at 6/5 who heads the betting. And the four-year-old is the favourite by some distance.

Soldier’s Call in second is some way behind at 6/1, with Havana Grey and Tantheem at 7/1 apiece.

Coral’s David Stevens said: “”While Enable is undoubtedly the headline act on Sunday’s card, Battaash was an equally impressive winner on this day twelve months ago, and the pair will be hugely popular with punters on both sides of the Channel.”
