Eminent slashed for Guineas glory after Craven success

Coral has slashed Eminent to 8-1 (from 25-1) for the QIPCO 2,000 Guineas, after the colt ran out an impressive winner of this afternoon’s Craven Stakes. The son of Frankel is also 10-1 second favourite (from 25-1) for the Investec Derby.
“In beating some more fancied rivals in the Craven, Eminent has become the leading home challenger in a 2,000 Guineas market until now dominated by overseas-trained runners, and is also clear second favourite for the Derby,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
