Emily attracts a flurry of bets after X Factor performance
Published:Emily Middlemas has attracted a flurry of bets this evening with leading bookmaker Coral to win X Factor following her performance tonight. The firm has cut her odds into 4-1 (from 11-1) after the gamble. At the top of the market, Matt Terry remains odds-on at 8-13 to win the series, while 5 After Midnight are on offer at 10-1.
In the next elimination market, 4 of Diamonds are the 6-4 favourites to depart tomorrow evening, Ryan Lawrie is 2-1 to leave and Saara Aalton is 3-1 in the elimination betting.
“Emily Middlemas appeared to steal the show on Halloween weekend and that has been reflected in the betting as she has attracted a flurry of bets resulting in her odds being slashed to win the show,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“In the elimination betting, 4 of Diamonds could be under the most pressure this weekend as they are favourites to depart, with Ryan Lawrie not far behind in the market,” added Hill.
