Ebor Festival Day Four Betting Tips: Who will claim this year’s Ebor Handicap?

Our preview ahead of Saturday’s action at York
After three thrilling days jam-packed with top-quality racing, we’ve reached the fourth and final day of this year’s York Ebor Festival.
There are seven more races to get your teeth stuck into, including two Group contests with the Strensall Stakes and City Of York Stakes, plus the day’s showpiece, the Ebor Handicap.
There’s the Listed Roses Stakes to look forward to as well, and ahead of Saturday’s action, we’ve picked out the runners and riders to look out for in the key contests.

Last year’s Queen Anne winner Lord Glitters has shown good form despite coming home third by two lengths in the York Stakes. He’s won this contest before back in 2018 and looks like one of the leading contenders again.
Dark Vision didn’t find the form he’d have hoped for last term, but the four-year-old landed the Hunt Cup at Ascot before beating Beringer by a neck at the Listed Pomfret Stakes last time out. We could see a bold showing in the final day opener.
Beringer runs again here. He signed off 2019 in style with a fine second just behind Group 1 winner Lord North in the Cambridgeshire. Ran a decent enough race when second to Dark Vision, but has a bit to find if he’s to overcome the favourites.
After winning last month’s Oak Tree at Goodwood, One Master should go well again over 7f here. She’s won back-to-back Group 1 Prix de La Forets too and has the ability to go further again.
Shine So Bright won last year’s City Of York Stakes as well as the Newmarket Free Handicap. Fell off her form slightly but seems to be back on track with a third in the Hackwood. The 7f could suit better and we could see a big run from her here.
With plenty of noteworthy York runs to his name, Brando could relish the chance to find form here. Hasn’t looked the force he once was and failed to make ground back up in the July Cup after an awkward start. Could spring a surprise here.
The back end of last season saw major improvements for Trueshan, and he picked up on that form when he won the Tapster Stakes last time out. Held his own over 1 3/4m and should give another solid account of himself here.
Deja is the progressive type who should look to build on recent form, finishing second in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot on reappearance, before winning the Old Newton Cup at Haydock. The draw isn’t ideal but has potential to go even better than before.
After a year off, Fujaira Prince returned with a bang at Royal Ascot, picking up an impressive win in the Copper Horse. Has been saved to run here since, and a 9lb rise is unlikely to unsettle a prominent showing. Should go well.
