Djokovic 7-4 to complete calendar Grand Slam

Novak Djokovic has been cut into 7-4 (from 5-1) by leading bookmaker Coral to complete the calendar Grand Slam in 2016 after the world number one won the French Open this afternoon.

Andy Murray is 5-2 to bounce back by winning Wimbledon for the second time in his career, Djokovic is the 4-5 odds-on favourite to defend his title, while Roger Federer can be backed at 9-1.

“Novak Djokovic fell just one short of the calendar Grand Slam last year but after winning the French Open, his odds have come crashing down to go one better this time around where he would join an elite club who have won all four Grand Slams in the same calendar year,”  said Coral’s John Hill.

“Murray will be extremely popular with patriotic British punters to bounce back at Wimbledon where he has just Djokovic ahead of him in the betting for SW19,” added Hill.
