Dean Saunders’ Wales v Switzerland preview: plenty of goals in Baku?

Our Matchday Squad journalist will be covering Wales throughout Euro 2020
I’ll be in Baku for this game and I can’t wait to watch Wales in action.
They start against Switzerland, and I don’t think there is much between the two teams. Both have a star player, we have Gareth Bale, they have Xherdan Shaqiri, and beyond Bale, I think the strongest part of our team is in the forward positions, we have players capable of scoring. However, when it comes to our defence, we’re not really blessed with players performing at the highest level.
But as I say I don’t think the Swiss are much stronger than us, both teams will be looking at this match thinking they can win it, and three points from the first game puts you in a strong position to qualify.
I think both teams will go for it, and as a result, I can see goals in this game, hopefully most of them for Wales! I’m going for a 3-1 win for my team.
