De Bruyne still favourite for POTY gong but Salah closing

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is 11/8 (from 3/1) with Coral to be crowned PFA player of the year this season, following his four-goal haul against Watford at the weekend.
Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne remains favourite to win the award, but his odds have been eased to 4/7 (from 1/3).
“Kevin De Bruyne has been the front-runner for the player of the year award from the opening weeks of the season.
And while he remains the odds-on favourite, Mo Salah has also been a star performer for his club and is closing in on the Belgian in the betting,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
Coral are also betting on which ‘keeper will start in goal for England’s opening World Cup match this summer.
And the football traders make Jack Butland 5/4 favourite, ahead of Jordan Pickford at 6/4, and Joe Hart, 7/2.
“There are question marks next to all of Gareth Southgate’s potential number ones, whether it be lack of international experience or less than convincing current club form.
And while Jack Butland is our current favourite to start the World Cup campaign, the odds suggest it’s far from a done deal,” concluded Stevens.
