2.25 – Media Mogul
This horse has been in good form recently, winning on his last two starts. He stepped up to 1m6f on his latest appearance at Redcar, and he stayed that trip well. He has gone up 3lb for that victory, but there is no reason to think he won’t be in the mix again as he bids for his hat-trick. It is a great ride to start the afternoon with.
2.58 – Comical Point
In the two-year-old race, I ride Comical Point, who is son of Blue Point. He was purchased for £140,000 at the sales. He is a lovely big horse for his age. None of these runners have seen a racecourse before, so there is always a chance they could be green. If my runner settles ok, he has the ability to score first time out.
4.03 – Gladius
I rode this horse to victory at Kempton on his debut run. I was impressed with the way he picked off the field in the closing stages. He only really got the hang of things in the final couple of furlongs but still won convincingly. He is stepping up in trip here to 1m2f, and I think that will be perfect for him.

4.40 – Simply Ruby
This filly was very green on her debut at Lingfield last month. She should come on for that run now she knows what it is all about. This will be her first run on grass, so the switch in surface might also help.
5.15 – Magical Runner
Andrew Balding is opting to step this filly up from 1m to 1m4f. She has been running consistently well without getting her nose in front. Andrew thinks the extra half mile will help. It’s a small field, with Yellow Card and Van Aert likely to be the two runners to beat.
