2.05 – Convo

She hasn’t won for a while, but she finished second in a Listed race as a two-year-old, and she looks like she has plenty of speed. I think Chester is a track that will suit her. We have been given a nice draw in stall three, so there will be no excuses. If she has come on from her winter break, she has a good chance.

Coral New Offer

2.35 – Secret Of Love

This is a lovely well-bred filly who is trained by Andrew Balding. She broke her maiden at Southwell on the all-weather. She then finished second in a Listed contest at Newmarket behind a smart filly from Ralph Beckett’s yard. The Cheshire Oaks is a competitive race, with all the leading yards represented, so it will be a tough test.

I do expect there to be a strong gallop in this race, and that will suit my filly. She should appreciate the step up in distance and hopefully, we will be staying on strongly at the end.

Racing Super Series

4.10 – Mister Winston

He took a big step forward on his second run when he was third at Nottingham last month. I liked the way he stuck on gamely at the end of that race. We have a tricky draw to contend with here in stall eight, but if he is quick enough away, we should be able to get into a nice position early and have every chance.
