Daily Acca Tips: Fulham, Sevilla, and St Etienne lead the way

Short previews of five big games

It’s a relatively busy Friday evening of football ahead with a number of games from the UK and Europe.

Fulham attempt to topple Cardiff City in the race for the Premier League, while there’s a couple of important games from the elite leagues across the continent.

The Coral News Team pick out five strong acca selections for your daily coupon…

Sevilla to beat Levante – 10/11

After beating Athletic Bilbao last weekend, Levante moved nine points clear of the drop zone with just four games to play. The Valencia-based team are practically safe.

The welcome Sevilla tonight and it’s the Seville outfit who have the greater motivation to win. Vincenzo Montella’s side are still in with a chance of European football next season despite a poor domestic campaign.

They haven’t won in six league games. But they have the superior quality and can put that right tonight with a win at Estadi Ciutat de Valencia.

Saint-Etienne to beat Montpellier – 19/10

With Paris Saint-Germain having already won the Couple de la Ligue and likely to win the Coupe de France, two Europa League places are at stake.

St Etienne currently occupy one of the spots, three points ahead of Montpellier. They clash at Montpellier’s Stade de la Mosson with the home side in poor form.

Michel Der Zakarian’s side have won just once in eight. And their visitors are at the opposite end of the form table – unbeaten in eight, winning four and drawing four.

St. Etienne should be too good for their hosts tonight and could move further clear.

Fulham to beat Sunderland – 2/9

Fulham have the opportunity to jump ahead of Cardiff into second spot if they beat Sunderland at Craven Cottage.

Sunderland are already relegated and have nothing to play for but pride. And that’s what makes them dangerous here. But Fulham should simply be too good for them at home.

The Whites are unbeaten in 22 league games. Ironically, their last defeat was against Sunderland back in December. But provided Slavisa Jokanovic’s talented side don’t choke under the pressure, they should win comfortably.

Dundalk to beat Cork City – 7/5

There’s a huge clash in Ireland tonight as Dundalk travel to Cork in a battle of the top two teams in the country.

Dundalk lead the table by goal difference in what will surely be another tight title race. Stephen Kenny’s squad finally beat the Leesiders in their first meeting of the season and have played some sparkling football so far this term.

However, John Caulfield’s champions will be no pushovers at Turner’s Cross. They’ve a fantastic home record having not lost there since August 2017.

But Dundalk look back to their best under Kenny and can win in Cork’s backyard.

Hoffenheim to beat Hannover – 3/10

Football is a funny game and rarely is anything as it seems. But surely Hoffenheim will be too good for a struggling Hannover.

Julian Nagelsmann’s vibrant side are still in the hunt for Champions League football next season. They’re just two points off the top-four and a win would temporarily shoot them into UCL contention.

Hoffenheim welcome a Hannover side six points clear of the Promotion/Relegation play-off place. A win would make them practically safe. But they’ve won just two games on the road all season.

Nagelsmann’s outfit should be far too good here.
