Daily Acca Tips: ADO Den Haag and Valencia among the selections
Published:Picks from five of Europe’s top leagues
There’s no shortage of top football action on this Sunday, and the Coral News Team have scoured Europe’s biggest leagues to pick out a continental five-fold of tips.
A £5 wager on today’s selections could pay out a shade over £120 if all five picks come in.
Here are the sides who’ve made the cut, starting with an upwardly-mobile Eredivisie side…
ADO Den Haag – 15/8
Sunday sees ADO visit a Sparta Rotterdam side who sit bottom of the Eredivisie – having taken a single point from their last four games.
As for ADO, they’re unbeaten in five – and kept a clean sheet at Ajax last weekend. The capital club have also dominated their Head-to-Head record with Sparta. Alfons Groenedijk’s men have won the last three clashes, without conceding a goal.
Manchester City – 8/13
Pep Guardiola’s men have taken an astonishing 40 points from 14 home games in the Premier League, and should have few problems against a Chelsea side in disarray.
Antonio Conte’s visitors have lost three of their last four league games. That run has included a 4-1 defeat at Watford and a 3-0 humiliation at home to AFC Bournemouth.
Olympique Marseille – 8/15
L’OM have recorded 12 wins and three draws in their last 15 games at Stade Velodrome. That includes victories in each of their last three, including a six-goal haul against Metz.
Sunday sees the visit of a Nantes side who’ve long since lost their early-season momentum. They may sit sixth, but have taken just six points from their last eight in Ligue 1.
Valencia – 4/9
Los Che look set for a Champions League football next term, with Marcelino Garcia Toral’s men sitting comfortably in fourth place – just a point behind Real Madrid. And chances are they’ll take another step towards the UCL against Real Betis.
Valencia have made the Mestalla a fortress this season, winning nine of their 13 home La Liga games. As for Betis, they’ve won just one of their last three matches – and were beaten 6-3 by Los Che in the reverse fixture.
AC Milan – 7/5
Sunday sees the latest instalment of the Milan derby, and it’s the men in red-and-black who look to have the better prospects. AC have picked up six wins and a draw in their last seven league matches – including a 4-0 rout of SPAL on their travels.
Inter Milan may sit three places above their rivals ahead of kick-off, but they’ve also won just two of their previous 11 games in all competitions.
