Cue Card heads betting for Haydock repeat

Published:

Last year’s winner Cue Card is 13-8 favourite with Coral for a repeat success in Saturday’s Betfair Chase, ahead of Coneygree at 9-4, following the latest entry stage for the Haydock Grade One.  Another former winner, Silviniaco Conti, is 8-1, with the recent Charlie Hall Chase victor, Irish Cavalier, next at 9-1.

“The betting for Saturday’s race is dominated by Cue Card and Coneygree, with the former favoured over his Gold Cup-winning rival who will be making a first start in over a year, while both runners are 50-1 to land the chase triple crown £1 million bonus this season,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

Latest betting for the Fixed Brush Hurdle sees Two Taffs and Unowhatimeanharry head the market as 6-1 joint favourites, ahead of Caid Du Berlais at 8-1.
