Real plotting nostalgic Ozil return
Those pesky transfer chiefs at La Liga giants Real Madrid are stealing the headlines yet again this Sunday morning, as reports continue to suggest the Spanish big-guns are tired of shiny new toy James Rodriguez and will flog the Colombian this summer.
Though, the twist in this tale is that Los Blancos do not want to trade their current star up for a newer model, but could instead return to raid Arsenal for former flame Mesut Ozil. The inconsistent but brilliant German playmaker bid goodbye to the Bernabeau back in 2013, for a fee believed to be around £42.4m, and now the Madrid men may try to undo their costly mistake.

Everton eyeing English replacement for Stones
Catalan coach Roberto Martinez knows a ball-playing centre back when he sees one and could also plunder Arsenal (12/5 with Coral to lift the Premier League) for squad player and defender Calum Chambers, should coveted John Stones eventually be plucked away from Goodison Park.
Just like the current Toffees fan favourite, Southampton academy graduate Chambers can be deployed as a centre half or right back and is handy with the ball at his feet, making him an ideal replacement. Hurrah! A transfer rumour which seems entirely plausible, perhaps.

City star in midfield gossip
Manchester City look set to restructure their midfield by injecting some fresh legs into the Etihad roster, with one midfield exit and an entrance the latest gossip to arrive from Mancunia.
The Sky Blues (5/4 favourites for the Premier League) may allow engine room fixture Yaya Toure to finally pack his bags and head to the Orient with Chinese club Shanghai SIPG, though PSV Eindhoven’s 20-year-old Uruguayan attacking midfielder Gaston Pereiro could be brought in to add a little dynamism and make up the numbers.
While, if either the blue or red side of Manchester snap up Pep Guardiola this summer, Bayern Munich have currently unemployed coach Carlo Ancelotti in mind as a back-up boss, should their attempts to sway Guardiola to stay fail.

Staying across town at Old Trafford, after a poor week of results from Manchester United, down in the dumps Red Devils fans could well be heartened to hear the Premier League giants are tracking another teenage striking sensation from France.
United’s last transfer from across the channel has certainly impressed so far and, should PSG’s 17-year-old forward Odsonne Edouard snub a new contract from the Ligue 1 club, Man Utd are reportedly ready to make an offer for the starlet.
