Man Utd aiming at Anderson arrival

Manchester United have been enduring a stuttering spell this current campaign, dropping down the Premier League table and exiting from the Champions League, so a January boost is expected from Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils take on Swansea City in their upcoming domestic clash and their Dutch boss is reportedly ready to delve into the winter market not long after the action.

United have long been linked with Lazio’s Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson and they could finally get their man next year, as the stuttering Manchester club seek reinforcements this season.

Rodriguez offer being readied?

Anderson’s arrival would undoubtedly bolster Van Gaal’s attacking ranks, a side which has struggled in recent weeks to create openings and grab vital goals, as the Samba star possesses plenty of astute attacking attributes.

If a move doesn’t materialise, or maybe on top of such a transfer, Man Utd are also linked with a sensational swoop for Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez in the January market.

The Colombian playmaker has surprisingly struggled to hold down a regular starting position under Rafa Benitez at the Bernabeu and is reportedly interested in a move to Old Trafford for a mammoth sum of £59m.

Rodriguez struck 17 goals and made 18 assists for Los Blancos in 44 starts across all competitions last term, but he has managed just eight starts under the new boss this season, which will give United hope of striking a Real deal.

Isco another Galactico going?

As well as potentially losing Rodriguez, Benitez is at risk of seeing another forward star in Isco departing the club, with Manchester City in search of the Spaniard’s signature next year.

Manuel Pellegrini’s Sky Blues already possess plenty of attacking danger within their squad, with the likes of Raheem Sterling, David Silva and Yaya Toure continuing their fine form, but Isco could take them to another level.

The dynamic Spain international creator would provide City with a great deal of creativity and a link-up with fellow countryman Silva could be a deadly partnership in attack.
