Blues look to continue good record against Foxes

The Premier League returns this weekend, with Manchester City and Liverpool kicking off the action on Saturday lunchtime.

Ahead of a cracking weekend of matches, the Coral News team have teamed up to give you a quartet of top tips, beginning with that clash at the Etihad.

Reds can edge goal-filled affair

Liverpool may be outsiders in the betting when they visit Man City this weekend, but recent history suggests the Reds are more than capable of winning. Of the pair’s last six meetings, two have been level after 90 minutes, while the Merseyside club have won the other four. That includes a 4-1 rout at the Etihad in November 2015.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have won four and drawn one of their opening five games in all competitions, scoring 14 times and conceding six.

As for the Citizens, they scraped a late point against Everton in their last home game, before a fortuitous last-gasp win at AFC Bournemouth a fortnight ago. All the value looks to be with the visitors in this one.

Top Tip: Liverpool to win and Both Teams to Score @ 24/5

Blues’ Leicester record points to easy win

Chelsea fans have had plenty to cheer in recent meetings with Leicester City. The Blues have won on three of their past four visits to the King Power Stadium, with every victory coming by two or more goals.

The last meeting at Stamford Bridge was also a comfortable 3-0 triumph for Antonio Conte’s men.

The Foxes’ patchy defence has shipped six goals in the opening three Premier League games, while the West London club have seen off Tottenham and Everton in their previous two outings. All signs point to Chelsea securing three points with a minimum of fuss.

Top Tip: Chelsea -1 @ 21/10

Points likely to be shared at Goodison

Tottenham Hotspur’s Wembley form has been the main source of frustration for fans in recent times, but Spurs’ record of frustrating away draws last term was a key factor in halting the club’s title challenge.

That could rear its head again as they travel to Everton this weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men drew six league games on the road, the joint-third highest number in the Prem. One of those came at Goodison Park, and in fact, they’ve drawn three of the past four meetings against the Toffees.

Talking of Ronald Koeman’s men, two of their last three games have ended 1-1, while Spurs were held to a point by Burnley a fortnight ago.

Top Tip: Everton v Tottenham – Draw @ 23/10

Clarets can deepen Palace woes

Frank de Boer is just three league games into his stint at Crystal Palace boss, and already the Dutchman is under pressure. That sums up just how bad the Eagles have been in the opening few weeks, with no points and no goals to their name thus far.

Sunday’s game sees the South London club make the long trip to Burnley, to face a Clarets side who boasted a hugely impressive home record last season, winning 10 Prem games at Turf Moor.

Six of those ended either 1-0 or 2-0, and with the visitors seriously goal-shy at present, Coral News are expecting a similar scenario in Lancashire this weekend.

Top Tip: Burnley to Win and Under 2.5 Goals @ 16/5
