Reports in the tabloid press claim under-fire Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal could lose his job before the Red Devils’ next Premier League game at the end of the month.
Coral have thus kept Van Gaal as their 2/1 favourite in the sack race betting, with a potentially fatal banana skin coming up before the home game with Arsenal on February 28th in the form of an FA Cup fifth round tie at Shrewsbury Town.
Jose Mourinho remains firmly fancied and odds-on at 1/4 to be next Man Utd manager – ahead of Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino and Old Trafford assistant Ryan Giggs, who are both 5/1 chances.
