Monday, August 31st

Polish winger Jakub Blaszczykowski will wear Fiorentina’s shirt this season, as the 29-year-old has reportedly agreed to leave Dortmund for Viola.

Former West Bromwich Albion club-record striker signing Brown Ideye has bid goodbye to The Hawthorns and joined Greek giants Olympiacos for an undisclosed fee.

West Bromwich Albion have signed goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard on a two-year deal from Manchester United.

Saturday, August 29th West Brom acquire Evans (19:49) Jonny Evans has joined West Bromwich Albion from Manchester United on a four-year deal for a fee of around £8m.

Scottish giants Celtic have secured a season-long loan of Manchester United centre half Tyler Blackett.

Thursday, August 20th Bologna nab Mattia Destro (21:16) Italy striker Mattia Destro has finally departed Roma to join Bologna for an initial fee of around €6.5m.

Diego Godin commits to Atleti (21:09)
Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin has agreed a new four-year deal, which will keep the 29-year-old tied to the Spanish giants until 2019.

QPR sign stopper Smithies (17:00) Huddersfield Town have allowed their long-term keeper Alex Smithies to join QPR for £1.2m on a three-year deal.

Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa returns home with Lyon (15:00) France international and former Newcastle centre back Yanga-Mbiwa has returned to his homeland for £5.6m from Roma.

Swans snap up Botti Biabi (14:40)
Swansea City have added Scotland youth player Biabi to their ranks, after the 19-year-old joined from Falkirk on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The young striker was born in England but has Ivory Coast heritage.

Bradford bag Brad (11:40) League One outfit the Bantams have signed former Liverpool keeper Brad Jones on a one-year contract.

Ramos gets new Real deal (09:20)

Cameroon attacker Clinton N’jie, who has been compared to Cameroon compatriot Samuel Eto’o, has joined the north Londoners on a five-year contact from Lyon. He turns 22 today, and the deal is subject to a work permit.

Ashley Cole becomes a free agent (8:45) After spending just over a season with Serie A side Roma, former Chelsea and England great left back Cole has had the final year of his contract ripped up, meaning he is now without a club. Friday, August 14th Scott Allan makes Celtic move (22:30) Former Scotland youth midfielder Allan, now 23, has signed for the Hoops on a four-year deal from Hibernian. As part of the transfer, meanwhile, Liam Henderson has gone the other way on a season-lon loan.

Watford borrow Nathan Ake from Blues (17:09)
Premier League newcomers the Hornets have continued their summer spree by securing a season-long loan deal for Chelsea’s adaptable Dutch defender Nathan Ake.

Brentford capture defender Maxime Colin (16:59) The Bees have snared Anderlecht right back Maxime Colin, with the French full back agreeing a four-year deal.

Burnley bag Rouwen Hennings (16:40)
Championship club the Clarets have captured hitman Rouwen Henning, leading Bundesliga 2 scorer last season, from side Karlsruher for an undisclosed fee. The striker is tied to Turf Moor on a three-year contract.

Boro buy Nugent from Foxes (12:35) Middlesbrough have signed England cap David Nugent from Leicester City for an undisclosed fee, reportedly £4m, and handed him a three-year contract at The Riverside.

Wigan snatch Spurs forward Shaq Coulthirst (11:00)
Tottenham attacker Shaq Coulthirst will link-up with Northwest club Wigan Athletic on a season-long loan deal, it has been announced.

Chesterfield win chase for striker Lee Novak (10:56) The Spireites have secured a season-long loan deal for Birmingham City attacker Lee Novak.

Traore completes Villa switch (10:10)
Barcelona winger Adama Traore has joined Aston Villa for a reported £7m on a five-year deal.

Thursday, August 13th Jimenez bought by Benfica (16:15) West Ham United target and Mexico international frontman Raul Jimenez has joined Portuguese giants Benfica from Atletico Madrid for a reported fee of €9m (just under £6.5m) on a five-year deal.

Holgate becomes a Toffee (11:35)
Everton have signed defender Mason Holgate to their ranks to join fellow former Barnsley player John Stones at the club on a five-year deal. It remains to be seen if Holgate comes in as cover or a replacement for Chelsea target Stones, though.

Wednesday, August 12th Roma land City’s Dzeko (17:02) After a four-year stay with Manchester City in the Premier League, Edin Dzeko has made a switch to Serie A side Roma, after successfully completing his medical in Italy.

Preston capture England-capped keeper Kirkland (13:00)
Former Liverpool and Wigan Athletic stopped Kirkland, who played once for England, has signed for Preston North End on a one-year deal, after leaving Sheffield Wednesday.

Tuesday, August 11th Stoke sign Swiss Shaqiri! (17:00) The Potters have made a number of surprise signings this summer, but have arguably made the most impressive of them all by signing attacker Xherdan Shaqiri from Inter Milan for £12m, which is a club record.

Alessio Romagnoli swaps Roma for AC Milan (15:48)
AC Milan have signed Italian centre back Alessio Romagnoli from rivals Roma for an undisclosed fee thought to be in the region of £17.5m. The defender has signed a five-year deal to stay with the San Siro giants until 2020.

Jaaskelainen joins Wigan (10:57) Former West Ham United stopper Jussi Jaaskelainen has joined Wigan Athletic on a Bosman, inking a one-year deal with the League One club. Monday, August 10th Baggies break transfer record in Rondon raid (16:20) West Brom have splashed £12m, a record fee for the Baggies, on Venezuela international striker Jose Salomon Rondon. The 25-year-old has signed a four-year deal at The Hawthorns.

Friday, August 7th

Bolton boost backline with Prince-Desir Gouano loan (19:44)
Championship club Bolton Wanderers have secured a season-long deal for defender Prince-Desir Gouana from Atalanta.

Jose Mourinho extends Chelsea stay (19:20) Blues boss Jose Mourinho has signed a new four-year contract to keep him at Chelsea until 2019.

Toffees extend Mirallas stay (15:43)
Belgium international winger Kevin Mirallas has become the latest Everton player to agree a new long-term contract at Goodison Park, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal.

Baggies bag Gnabry loan (15:33) West Bromwich Albion have secured the signing of Arsenal’s Serge Gnabry, after agreeing a season-long loan deal for the wideman. though he won’t be eligibly for their opening game against Manchester City.

Stoke tie down Muniesa (14:07)
Great news for Stoke City, as defender Marc Muniesa has signed a new four-year contract. Mark Hughes will be delighted, especially as skipper Ryan Shawcross is injured for two months.

Hull sign Moses Odubajo (14:05) The Tigers have announced the signing of right-sided England youth international Moses Odubajo, 22, from Brentford for £3.5m on a three-year deal.

Karanka bags Boro deal (11:53)
Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson has confirmed that club boss Aitor Karanka has penned a new four-year deal at the Riverside Stadium, calling it the biggest signing of the summer.

Pellegrini stays! (11.13) Manuel Pellegrini has extended his contract at Manchester City until 2017, following heated speculation surrounding his future, with Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola having been tipped to replace him at the Etihad.

Young extends United stay (10:01)
Ashley Young has penned a new deal with Manchester United, keeping the winger at Old Trafford until 2018, with the option of a further year. The wideman has been rejuvenated under Louis van Gaal and has gained his reward for his stand-out performances last season.

Thursday, August 6th Man Utd confirm Di Maria exit (14:05) Manchester United have confirmed British football’s record signing Angel Di Maria has joined French Ligue 1 champions PSG on a four-year deal for a reported £44m. That’s a hit of about £15m!

Coloccini commits to Toon (13:47)
Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini has put pen to paper on a new contract extension with the Tyneside club, keeping him at St James’ Park until the end of the 2016/17 campaign, with the option of a further year. The Argentina defender had been linked with Crystal Palace recently but has now committed his future to the Toon.

Black Cats capture M’Vila (9:48) Sunderland have signed midfielder Yann M’Vila on a season-long loan from Rubin Kazan. The Black Cats have been tracking the Frenchman for some time now and finally have their man.

Cissokho joins Porto (17:40) Aston Villa defender Aly Cissokho has joined Porto on a season-long loan deal, with the 27-year-old having signed for Villa in 2014 after a loan spell with Liverpool.

Eagles swoop for Sako (13:25)
Crystal Palace have captured West Bromwich Albion target and former Wolves winger Bakary Sako on a free, handing him a three-year deal at Selhurst Park. Tony Pulis’ former club gets one over him here!

Rovers sign up Guthrie (13:05) Blackburn Robers have handed free agent Danny Guthrie a two-year contract at Ewood Park following a successful trial.

Bolton bag Dobbie, Heskey extends stay (11:45)
Bolton Wanderers have agreed to extend Emile Heskey’s contract by another year and have completed the signing of former Crystal Palace forward Stephen Dobbie. The Championship club have also captured ex-Charlton full-back Lawrie Wilson.

Porto pounce for Osvaldo (11:02) Two years after becoming Southampton’s £15m record signing, Argentine attacker Dani Osvaldo has penned a deal with Portuguese giants Porto. The controversial character had loans spells at Juventus, Internazionale and Boca Juniors, before his contract was terminated by the Saints in July.

Real Madrid midfielder Sergio Molina, who captained Barca’s El Clasico rivals at various youth levels, has penned a three-year contract and will feature in Stoke’s Under-21 setup this term.

Monday, August 3rd Bobby Zamora returns to Brighton (22:15) After snapping up Jack Harper from Real Madrid, Brighton and Hove Albion have further added to their striking options by singing former star Zamora, who last played for the Seagulls in 2003, for a season.

Cardiff City forward Adam Le Fondre has joined fellow Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers on a season-long loan, with an option for a permanent move.
