Coral pay out on all ‘winning’ bets after Sedgefield void fiasco

Coral are to pay out on all ‘winning’ bets placed on the 1.20 at Sedgefield today, despite the race being officially voided. The firm will also refund all losing bets struck on the race, to shop, online and telebet customers.

“Although the rules state that the race had to be voided, we do not feel it is fair that punters should be penalised, so on this occasion we’re happy to pay out on all winning bets, and refund stakes on losing ones,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
