Coral have priced up England’s most likely XI against Tunisia
Published:Harry Kane is odds-on to start up front
Coral has priced up all the main contenders for England’s first starting eleven at the World Cup in Russia this summer.
And they’ve made Jordan Pickford the 8/11 favourite to earn the number one shirt.
Kyle Walker, John Stones and Harry Maguire all look certain to start in defence but the firm cannot split Danny Rose and Ryan Bertrand for the left back spot, making both 10/11.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “One of the major headaches for Southgate will be Rose or Bertrand and at the moment we can’t split them. An injury free end to the campaign for Bertrand could tip it in his favour, however.”
Eric Dier, Raheem Sterling, Dele Alli, Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane are all heavily odds on with Coral to start against Tunisia on the 18th of June.
But Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are both 5/6 for the final midfield berth.
“In our eyes the Henderson and Oxlade-Chamberlain conundrum will all come down to whether Southgate opts for a more defensive or attacking feel to his midfield,” added Aitkenhead.
