Sunderland v Norwich – Draw
Both sides lost their opening day matches this season and, as the duo have drawn in their last two meetings at the Stadium of Light, back that outcome again.

Swansea v Newcastle – Home win
The Swans remarkably have won five of their last six matches against the Magpies, losing none, and got off to a great start this term by sharing the spoils with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham v Stoke – Draw
Spurs and Stoke lost 1-0 in their respective openers, but the latter won both head-to-heads last term. The Potters have just added Xherdan Shaqiri to their ranks so back them to take a point away from North London.

Watford v West Bromwich Albion – Home win
Hosts the Hornets showed spades of sting in their opener against Everton, so will be hoping to use that as a springboard to pile the pressure on to West Brom, who suffered a demoralising defeat to Manchester City.

West Ham United v Leicester City – Draw
The Hammers and Foxes both began the new campaign in sensational style, but may have to split the spoils against each other. With so many fresh faces on both sides yet to settle, there should be scoring chances galore.

Bristol City v Brentford – Away win
Back the Bees, away from poor conditions at Griffin Park, to push past Championship new boys the Robins, who they did the double over last time they met in League One in 2013/14.

Fulham v Brighton and Hove Albion – Away win
Brighton won the last battle between these Championship strugglers and, while the Cottagers got off to a rocky start this season, the Seagulls are flying high with two wins on the trot across all competitions.

Ipswich v Sheff Wed – Home win
Mick McCarthy’s men should prove too strong from the Owls given they host them in Suffolk – a lengthy trip from the Steel City.

MK Dons v Preston – Draw
Simon Grayson’s Deepdale side laboured to a point on the opening day and, unless Jermaine Beckford is fit, the same result looks on the cards in Milton Keynes.

QPR v Cardiff – Home win
The Hoops have even more resources than their fellow former Premier League side, and the Bluebirds do not do well on trips to the capital.

Wolves v Hull – Home win
Steve Bruce continues to lose players from his roster, and Dame N’Doye’s exit will hamper their promotion push considerably. Back Wolves to tame the Tigers here.

Crystal Palace v Arsenal – Away win
Arsenal made the worst possible start to their season with a defeat to West Ham United, but travel to Selhurst Park with confidence, having not been beaten there since 1979. Expect the Gunners to get back on track with three points over Crystal Palace in a tight encounter.

Reading v Leeds – Draw
Yorkshire outfit Leeds have big ambitions this term in the Championship, but face a Reading side who have strengthened their ranks during the summer. The Whites managed to take four points off their opposition last term and should have enough to earn another on the road in this clash.

Man City v Chelsea – Home win
Jose Mourinho has been embroiled in an unusual situation after sacking the club doctor and will have to set his side up for a match-up with the opening weekend’s most impressive side Manchester City. Manuel Pellegrini’s men looked superior in every aspect to Chelsea and could inflict the Blues with a maiden campaign defeat.

Liverpool v Bournemouth – Draw
Life in the Premier League doesn’t get any easier for Bournemouth, as they prepare to tackle Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool in a daunting meeting at Anfield. Eddie Howe’s men need to start winning now and could spring a surprise on their travels by picking up their first ever top-tier point.
