Coral Champions Club

In 2012 Coral launched Britain’s only bookmaker-run racing club – the Coral Champions Club. With membership being completely free, current Coral customers can get rewarded when a Coral Champions Club horse runs.

As a member you will be kept up to date with the clubs horses, Crew Cut & Never A Quarrel from Coral’s Head of Horseracing James Knight. There are regular competitions where members can receive owners badges for a day, along with a cut of prize money won. There is no excuse for not being a member, who wouldn’t want the inside info on the clubs horses?

With that in mind Never A Quarrel runs at the 5:20 at Goodwood in a Class 5 Apprentice Handicap. It was only 13 days ago that Never A Quarrel made her handicap debut at Wolverhampton, winning a Class 6 maiden cosily by 2 1/2 lengths. James Knight had the following to say about her chances today:

“This is a much tougher race for Never A Quarrel, but we feel she is still improving and is still potentially well handicapped. If she handles the downhill track at Goodwood, we expect her to be involved in the finish.“

There are some proven horses at higher grades in the race, most eye scathingly is Violet Jordan’s Threave who sprung a 20-1 surprise in a Salisbury maiden, and was narrowly denied last time out at Brighton (neck). Never A Quarrel will have a fight on her hoofs,
