Championship: Hull City seek first win against Wolves at Molineux since 2007

Two sides who won their opening game of the season in the Championship meet, as Hull City travel to Wolves. Steve Bruce’s boys who were relegated from the Premier League last season got off the mark with a 2-0 win over Huddersfield at home last time out.
The Tigers, 9/5 with Coral for the win, also beat Accrington Stanley albeit in a penalty shootout in the Capital One Cup in midweek, with on-loan Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom scoring in consecutive matches. He is superbly priced at 5/2 to net in the anytime market and well worth taking a punt on. Sam Clucas, who also scored against Huddersfield is 4/1 to do so again, while Nikica Jelavic is 6/1 to break the deadlock.
Following his side’s win over Accrington, Bruce said: “We were lackadaisical and we weren’t playing as quick as we should do. We played like it was a pre-season friendly and sometimes that happens when you come to places like this and that’s what it looked like tonight.
“We’ve got a lot of young players and the experience of tonight will do them well.”
The hosts started with a well-fought win away against Blackburn Rovers in their first match of the Championship campaign, with goals from Benik Afobe and Dave Edwards with the duo 9/5 and 14/5 anytime.
Two years ago, Wolves took the three points when they entertained the Tigers, courtesy of a Kevin Doyle goal and the last time the Humberside outfit won at Molineux was in 2007 thanks to a Dean Windass penalty.
Kenny Jackett is likely to name an unchanged team from the one which took three points off the Rovers with the Wolves boss pleased with their opening performance.
“It was a great three points away from home. I thought we had spells of possession where we looked very good and the diamond midfield gave us an overload and really helped us in spells.”
