Champions League: Rampant Rooney & buoyant Bony a delighful double

Rooney to go on a scoring run
The Manchester United and England captain will be looking for an excuse to continue his form from last time out against his former club and is sure to be fired up for the match against CSKA Moscow, a match he is 2/1 to score anytime in.
Following the Red Devils’ comprehensive win, in which Rooney was integral, teammate Ander Herrera was full of praise for his skipper.
“Wayne is our leader. He is the best English player in English history and we are lucky to have him,” Herrera said.
“When he fights like he did on Saturday we can be very proud of him. He has always helped me a lot.”
Bony the main man for Manuel

In place of Sergio Aguero, in stepped Ivory Coast striker Bony who duly delivered in Manchester City’s 5-1 mauling of Bournemouth, with the player bagging a brace and an assist and manager Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping for more of the same against the Bathtubs.
After contracting malaria in the summer, Bony appears to be back to his best and will look to take advantage of Aguero’s injury. City host Sevilla in the Champions League, with Bony evens to net anytime against a susceptible Sevilla rearguard.
Speaking following his excellent performance against Bournemouth Bony said: “I got malaria from Africa when I was coming back but I am okay now.
“I feel I have turned the corner. I have had a lot of injuries and been sick, and feel that is all away from me now.
“I just want to do my job, do my best in training and score when I get my chance in the match. Every striker is happy when he scores, especially when the team wins.”
