Odds and preview ahead of tonight’s fixtures

Champions League ties are coming thick and fast this season and we’ve got another set of mouth-watering games to look forward to tonight.

Manchester City and Liverpool both secured their third successive wins in the competition last night and this evening their English counterparts, Manchester United and Chelsea, will be looking to stay top of their respective groups.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side face a trip to Istanbul Basaksehir while the Blues host French outfit Rennes. Elsewhere, Barcelona host Dynamo Kiev and Paris Saint-Germain visit RB Leipzig.

Ahead of the action, we’ve previewed tonight’s biggest clashes.

Istanbul Basaksehir v Manchester United

Contrary to their inconsistent domestic form, United have been ruthless in Europe this season, topping Group H following wins over PSG and RB Leipzig.

And with tonight’s Turkish opponents rock-bottom with zero points, Solskjaer will be confident of making it three wins on the spin.

The odds suggest as much, with United odds-on favourites at 2/5. The hosts are going at 15/2 while the draw is 19/5.

Anthony Martial was on the scoresheet against Leipzig last week and he should be raring to go, having missed United’s last three Premier League games through suspension.

The Frenchman is 7/2 to open the scoring, while summer signing Edinson Cavani is 23/20 to bag his first goal for the club.

Ex-Chelsea striker Demba Ba is 10/3 to score for Istanbul, while Brazilian right-back Rafael is 33/1 to net against his former side.

Chelsea v Rennes

A goalless draw with Sevilla and a 4-0 thrashing of Russian side Krasnodar leaves Frank Lampard’s top of Group E on goal difference.

Chelsea have scored seven goals in their last two games in all competitions and they’ll be looking to continue their prolific form in style at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are just 3/10 to claim another three points, with Rennes the clear underdogs at 10/1. The draw is 19/4. A Chelsea win and over 4.5 goals can be backed at 13/4.

Hakim Ziyech has scored in his last two games for Chelsea and the Moroccan winger is priced at 7/4 to bag anytime tonight, while Timo Werner is 14/5 to score first.

Rennes’ likeliest hero is French striker Sehrou Guirassy and our traders have him at 10/3 to score past goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, who will be facing his former club.

Barcelona v Dynamo Kiev

Much like United, Barca are two wins from two in the Champions League so far this season, including an impressive 2-0 victory at Juventus.

Again like United, their European record is a far cry from their domestic form, which has seen them fail to win their last four La Liga outings.

Ronald Koeman’s side are 1/11 favourites to triumph over 28/1 shots Dynamo Kiev. The draw is priced at 11/1.

Lionel Messi has scored in both of Barca’s Champions League games this season and he’s odds-on at 4/11 to net tonight, while the Argentinean is going at 11/2 to score a hat-trick.
