Man City v Bayern San Siro final still on
Manchester City were the first team drawn out of the pot, and they face Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League. Bayern Munich, meanwhile, will take on Atletico Madrid.
The Citizens (13/2 title outsiders with Coral, from 11/2) duel with Los Blancos (2/1, from 13/5) for only the third and fourth time, after they were placed in the same group in the 2012/13 campaign. They managed a 1-1 draw at the Etihad, but went down 3-2 at the Bernabeu.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men will need to keep a close eye on Karim Benzema, who scored in both of those fixtures, while Cristiano Ronaldo is in fine form after hitting hat-trick to help his side quality at the expense of Wolfsburg in the quarters.
Bayern battle Barca’s conquerors Atleti
Pep Guardiola will be relieved that Bayern (still 6/4 title favourites) have avoided facing his future club City, at least until a possible showdown in the final, as they clash with Atletico (7/2, from 10/3) for the first time since the 1974 European Cup final.
The two teams drew 1-1 at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels on that occasion, before the Germans ran out 4-0 two days later with two goals from the legendary Gerd Muller.

Liverpool get Villarreal in Europa semis
Liverpool have been rewarded with a Europa League semi-final tie with Villarreal, following their extraordinary comeback win over Jurgen Klopp’s former team Borussia Dortmund on Thursday evening.
While, there is the prospect of four Spanish sides all making European finals this season, as defending champions Sevilla are up against Shakhtar Donetsk in the other fixture.
Three of the four teams in the Europa League semis have won this competitions before, with the exception being Liverpool’s (13/8 title favourites, trimmed from 7/4) opponents Yellow Submarine (still 7/2), who they’ve never faced before.
Can Sevilla claim fifth title?
Sevilla (21/10, from 11/5), who’ve won this competition four times in the last 10 years, have battled Shakhtar (11/2, from 9/2), though, after edging through with a 5-4 aggregate scoreline in the 2006/07 UEFA Cup.
