Carvaggio trimmed for Guineas glory after Phoenix success

Caravaggio is 11-4 (from 3-1) favourite with Coral for next year’s Qipco 2,000 Guineas, after the colt maintained his unbeaten record with victory in this afternoon’s Keeneland Phoenix Stakes.

“The form of Caravaggio’s Coventry Stakes win has already been given several boosts, and now the colt himself has won his first Group One with the minimum of fuss, ensuring he is already a hot favourite for next year’s Qipco 2,000 Guineas,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
