Carlo Ancelotti 4/1 favourite to replace Wenger at Arsenal
Published:Conte also looks like he’s on a sticky wicket
Coral has installed Carlo Ancelotti at the head of the betting to be the next Arsenal manager at 4/1.
After defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion, Arsene Wenger’s position looks increasingly precarious.
Wenger is now heavily odds-on at 1/6 to not be in charge of Arsenal’s first game of the 2018-19 Premier League campaign.
“It very much looks like time is running on Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal dynasty and the early signs in the betting are that the Gunners will turn to a man with an illustrious CV in Carlo Ancelotti,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
Meanwhile Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is another manager who is odds-on, at 1/2, to not be manager of his club for the first game of next season.
His side suffered another defeat at the weekend, losing 1-0 to Manchester City. It was the manner of the loss, however, that was most galling.
