Light Blues bidding to repeat last year’s victory

Cambridge are the heavy favourites at 1/3 to win this Sunday’s 165th Boat Race.

The Light Blues, who this year make double Olympic champion James Cracknell the oldest competitor by a decade, are defending their crown after a three-length victory in 2018.

Oxford are 9/4 to triumph, whilst a dead heat is 150/1.

“We make Cambridge very heavy favourites to win the boat race for the second year in a row and they are definitely expected to get the job done on Sunday,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.

“James Cracknell will become the oldest person to row in the race by a decade but we think class will remain permanent and he should end up celebrating come the finishing line,” added Aitkenhead.
