Bryson DeChambeau odds cut for 2020 US Masters
Published:Third favourite now 12/1 to win tournament in November
After his win in the PGA Tour’s latest tournament, the Rocket Mortgage Classic, Bryson DeChambeau has been cut from 22/1 to 12/1 to win this year’s US Masters.
The 26-year-old American finished three shots clear of Matthew Wolff at the Detroit Golf Club to claim victory, continuing his fine form since the resumption of golf.
DeChambeau has recorded seven consecutive top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour after he failed to make the cut at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship in January.
Only world number one Rory McIlroy at 7/1, and world number two Jon Rahm at 11/1, are a shorter price than world number seven DeChambeau to win the famous green jacket at Augusta in November.
2019 champion Tiger Woods comes in as joint fourth favourite with Justin Thomas at 14/1.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Bryson DeChambeau is making waves on the PGA Tour with his new physique and he’s absolutely flying. He’s now the third favourite for the Masters and punters are backing him for the green jacket already.”
7/1 Rory McIlroy, 11/1 Jon Rahm, 12/1 Bryson DeChambeau, 14/1 Justin Thomas, Tiger Woods, 16/1 Dustin Johnson, 20/1 Xander Schauffele, 22/1 Jordan Spieth, 25/1 Hideki Matsuyama, Justin Rose, Patrick Reed, Webb Simpson
