Brazilian Grand Prix betting tips, odds and preview

Formula One heads to Brazil for the penultimate race of the season with Max Verstappen seeking to extend his winning run.

The Red Bull driver has won the last three races to continue a dominant season.

Ferrari are bidding to get back on track while Mercedes are seeking a first win of the season, as we look at some Brazilian Grand Prix betting tips.

Verstappen out to make it 15

With world championship success already sealed for Verstappen and his team Red Bull, all eyes are on how many race wins the Dutchman can finish the season with.

He broke the record for most race wins in a single season with his 14th victory of a dominant campaign last time out in Mexico and arrives in Brazil as the firm favourite to make it 16 at 1/2.

It would be a second victory in Brazil for Verstappen if he reaches the chequered flag first, while team-mate Sergio Perez is out for a first ever win in Brazil. He is 9/1 in the Brazilian Grand Prix odds to win on Sunday.

Ferrari were the early-season challengers to Red Bull but are now nine races without a win stretching back to July.

The Scuderia will have their sights set on securing second spot in both the driversā€™ and constructorsā€™ standings with Charles Leclerc just five points behind Perez and Ferrari 40 points clear of Mercedes ahead of the penultimate race.

Leclerc is 6/1 to win in Brazil while a double podium finish for Ferrari is available at 11/2.

Can Mercedes break season duck?

Lewis Hamilton has two races left to preserve his record of having won a grand prix in every season of his career.

The seven-time world champion has struggled to get to grips with his car under the new regulations for the majority of the season, but recent races have offered hope that the previously-dominant silver arrows can claim that elusive win.

Hamilton has finished second to Verstappen at the last two races and will hope that his car allows him to compete for a fourth win in Brazil. He is 5/1 for victory and 3/5 to make the podium.

Hamilton is 15 points adrift of team-mate George Russell who is available at 14/1 to break Mercedesā€™ duck.

The sprint is back

This is the third and final sprint of the season and Verstappen is out to complete a clean sweep in the short format Saturday dash.

The first sprint this season was at Imola where the Dutchman edged out Leclerc and it was the same one-two at the second sprint in Austria.

Verstappen went on to back up pole position with a race win in Italy, but Leclerc turned it around to win in Austria.

Verstappen will be a popular pick for Brazilian Grand Prix betting tips at 8/11 to win the sprint, with Leclerc 2/1. The pair are the clear favourites to compete over the short format due to their superior pace, with Hamilton third favourite at 10/1.
