Both teams to score tips: Blades can buck a BTTS trend

There are seven matches taking place in the Premier League and hopefully the goals will flow for punters backing both teams to score tips.
Last week all five of our BTTS games came up trumps – netting followers a whopping £97.86 return from a £5 stake – and we’ve studied the form guide to highlight where there could be goals galore in the English Football League this weekend.
Newcastle v Chelsea
Admittedly, this may not be on everyone’s radar when it comes to both teams scoring, especially given Chelsea’s stingy defence which has conceded just three goals all season.
Plus, they thumped Norwich 7-0 last week and have won at Arsenal, Tottenham and Brentford without conceding.
The European champions and table-toppers will certainly fancy their chances of triumphing at St James’ Park, given the Magpies have yet to win a game and sit in the bottom two.
Newcastle have also kept a clean sheet just twice since the start of last season and have not managed one at home at all so Chelsea should be good for at least one goal.
But with Mike Ashley and Steve Bruce departed, there is a sense of optimism despite their plight and the loyal fan base will provide that added adrenaline the home side seem to need.
Perhaps Newcastle will be good for at least one goal and it is evens this will be the case.
Sheffield United v Blackpool
As above, sometimes it pays to try and buck a trend and that is exactly the reasoning with this Championship clash, which has seen one side fail to score in each of their last four meetings.
United have netted in each of their last four Championship games while Blackpool have overcome a sticky start and have scored in every away game this season.
They have also found the net in each of their last seven outings.

Blackpool have conceded in four of their previous five and the Blades have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five.
While going against trends does not always pan out, recent form suggests the BTTS odds of 17/20 are worthy of consideration.
Portsmouth v Bolton
We dip into League One for the next BTTS proposition.
Portsmouth are hit and miss at the moment as they thrashed Sunderland 4-0 at Fratton Park before being beaten 4-1 at Rotherham and 4-0 at home by Ipswich.
Last week, they bounced back with a 2-2 draw at Accrington.
Bolton, who lost this fixture 1-0 last season, have also been inconsistent and failed to score in three consecutive games – all defeats – before being held to a 2-2 draw at home by Gillingham last week.
Those who like trends will note this fixture has alternated in the last six at Fratton Park between both sides scoring and one side failing to net.
If this trend holds true, both will concede this time and it is 8/11 for that to happen.
Rotherham v Sunderland
Rotherham have won just three of their last 25 meetings with Sunderland but have managed to score in six of their last eight at home against the Black Cats.
While drawing a blank in the last two, they have never failed to score in three consecutive meetings at home against them.
Sunderland have netted at least once in the last eight visits and it is 5/6 both teams will find the net.
Sutton v Walsall
League Two new-boys Sutton have been going great guns and are sixth in the table after beating Colchester 3-1 on the road to secure a seventh win in the Football League.
They have scored in each of their last seven league games and have conceded in their last three.
Walsall have scored an away goal in four of their last five and will be hopeful of maintaining their three-game unbeaten run away from home. The BTTS odds are 3/4.
