Bookies still expect McGregor-Diaz rematch

Leading bookmaker Coral is long odds-on at 1-12 that Conor McGregor will fight Nate Diaz in a rematch at some stage in 2016, while the firm go 1-8 that the Irishman appears on UFC 200. In the match betting for the welterweight rematch, Coral can’t separate the two fighters as both men are 10-11 to win the fight.
After reversing his decision to retire, Coral is quoting 8-1 that McGregor announces his retirement again this year.
“We expect McGregor to still fight Diaz at some stage in 2016 in a repeat of their UFC 196 contest. McGregor was a big favourite on that occasion, however, there is nothing to separate the two men for the rematch,” said Coral’s John Hill.
