Bookies make Hamilton the favourite for third Drivers’ title

Lewis Hamilton goes into this weekend’s opening race of the 2015 Formula One season as the 1-2 favourite with bookmaker Coral to defend the Drivers’ Championship he won last year. Teammate and rival Nico Rosberg is second best at 2-1, while Daniel Ricciardo is available at 22-1.
In the Constructors’ Championship, Mercedes are as short as 1-33 to follow up their success in 2014 by winning bacl-to-back titles.
“Lewis Hamilton has been well backed once again to defend his Drivers’ Championship title, but the majority of those who have tried to take him on have done so with his teammate Nico Rosberg. The betting suggests Mercedes will be very difficult to beat in the Constructors’ Championship,” said Coral’s John Hill.
