Bookies make Great Britain the new 13-8 Davis Cup favourite

Great Britain are the 13-8 favourites with leading bookmaker Coral to win the 2015 Davis Cup after they made it through to the semi-final of the competition at the weekend for the first time since 1981. Their next opponents Australia are 3-1 in the outright betting, locked with Argentina and Belgium who are both also available at 3-1.
“It’s been 79 years since Great Britain last won the Davis Cup but the betting suggests there is a very good chance that run will come to an end this year as they are the favourites of the four nations left in the competition ahead of their semi-final encounter with Australia,” said Coral’s John Hill.
