Sunday
Huntingdon 15.35 – Major Robinson
Major Robinson’s best run so far this season was his third place at Newbury before Christmas, he maybe hasn’t built on that run in his two races since then but a repeat of that December run would give him a chance here.
Huntingdon 16.05 – Copper Coin
This is a race [brother] Michael and I would dearly love to win, as it’s named in memory of John Bigg, who owned Oxo, the horse our grand-dad Michael won the Grand National on. Although Copper Coin is still a maiden, he had some good form over hurdles without ever getting his head in front. He had schooled well over fences ahead of his chasing debut, so we were a little bit disappointed with that first run at Ascot, but he’s had some time to get over that and hopefully can show his true form here.
