The Coral ambassador previews his rides ahead of the weekend

It was great to win the Coral Finale Juvenile Hurdle on Adagio last weekend, for the yard and myself to win a Grade 1 was a great boost.

He won it well, and I think the horse of Gary Moore’s we beat [Nassalam] is smart too, so there was some depth to the race. We knew before the race that it would tell us if we had a Triumph Hurdle or Boodle’s horse, and now know he’s definitely a Triumph runner. He’s improved since he finished second to Duffle Coat at Cheltenham, although the Irish horses look strong we will go to Cheltenham with confidence.

Warwick 14.25 – Make Me A Believer

Make Me A Believer won really well at Cheltenham last time, and the time before that was second to Bear Ghylls, which looks strong form, and the step up in trip here will hold no fears for him. At 137 he’s one of the highest rated in this field, and that rating looks fair as he’s a horse we really like. Whether or not he’s a horse for the spring festivals this season only time will tell, but we definitely see him as a chaser for the future, and an exciting one too.

Warwick 15.00 – Didero Vallis

It’s nice to pick up the ride on Didero Vallis for Venetia Williams, and her horses are in great form. He’s back to his last winning mark, and he shapes as if he’ll enjoy this step up in trip, obviously we’ll find out here if he does, but he’s a lovely ride to have for an in-form yard.

Warwick 15.35 – Kepagge

Kepagge was a little bit disappointing on his last run, he finished fourth but was beaten a long way. However I sat on him during the week and he felt in good order, so I’m much more hopeful we’ll see the real Kepagge here, I think he’s got a great chance.
