Coral ambassador previews his Doncaster rides

It was frustrating to lose Cheltenham to the weather as I had a nice book of rides, and even more frustrating that it looks like the rescheduled races will be run when I’m suspended.

15.15 Doncaster – One For The Team

With Cheltenham off, I’ve picked up a lovely ride on One For The Team. He’s taken to fences really well. He was a good second at Newbury, and I thought he ran as well as he could around Kempton in the Kauto Star Chase as that track wouldn’t have played to his strengths and it was a Grade One.

His Newbury form took a boost when Next Destination won again last time out at Warwick. I think off 141 he’s on a decent mark. He’s showed he’s at least as good over fences as he showed over hurdles, and he must have a very good chance in this.

The ground at Doncaster is very tacky but I think they will get a bit of rain overnight. Either way it shouldn’t hinder him.
