Coral ambassador previews his rides this weekend

Saturday

12.55 Warwick – Upton Road

Upton Road is having his first run under Rules here. He has settled in nicely and we are very happy with him.

This is going to be a competitive race. One Touch looks the one we probably all have to beat. We like our horse but this is going to be informative more than anything else.

2.05 Warwick – Moonlighter

I won on Moonlighter last time at Newbury. I really like him as he showed a good attitude that day when just getting up to beat Precious Cargo.

We are meeting that horse again on 3lb worse terms this time for a neck beating. I wouldn’t be surprised if Moonlighter improved again so I am not too concerned with the new terms.

He showed a good level of form over hurdles and he is beginning to get things together over fences. I am confident of a big run.

3.15 Warwick – Gala Ball

Gala Ball will look to have a very good chance in this race. He is a very consistent horse who has only been put up 2lb for his win at Wincanton last time.

The second horse that day run very well at Sandown last week. My horse’s form reads very well.

3.50 Warwick – Wayfinder

This horse was third last time in a maiden hurdle. He is making his handicap debut here where he is off a competitive mark to begin with.

It looks like a wide-open affair and he is one of the ones with a chance.

4.25 Warwick – Wildfire Warrior

He was second over this C&D on his debut last month behind an Olly Murphy runner.

It was a good run and I am sure he will learn from the experience. There are plenty of unraced nice types so it will be an interesting race.

Sunday

The forecast is not great for this weekend at Exeter. They are inspecting at 8am on Sunday morning. Let’s hope it doesn’t turn out as bad as predicted.

2.25 Exeter – Brinkley

Brinkley is a horse I like a lot. He has come to us from Ireland. He was third behind Blue Sari first time over hurdles.

The horse which was second is now rated 132. It is a competitive race that he is in but the form of his last run suggests he has a good chance.

3.00 Exeter – Orchard Thieves

Orchard Thieves is having his first run back for a while. He had some good point-to-point form. He has only had the two runs for us. He has been tricky to train but he is fit and well now. He will need to step up on what he has shown so far.

5.05 Exeter – Shoot To Fame

He has plenty of experience having run in a few point-to-points. Exeter is a great place to start horses off. Unfortunately, that means a lot of nice horses begin their careers here. Hopefully my horse can make his experience tell.
