Cheltenham 13.50 – Ramses De Teillee
Ramses De Teillee ran really well in France last time, finishing fifth in their version of the Champion Hurdle. That was over a trip of three miles plus and it was pleasing how he saw out that trip over hurdles.
This longer trip on what could be testing ground should suit him, and as a horse placed in a Coral Welsh National and Haydock National Trial, we know he likes a marathon trip.
He’s on good order at home, I schooled him recently and although West Approach looks to be a major rival once again, we’re very closely matched to that one and I think we’ve got a good chance.
Cheltenham 15.00 – Thinking
Thinking hasn’t run for a long time, and this is a step into the unknown. We were getting him ready for a run at the back end of last year, but he had a few problems, and then lockdown and the end to the season came so it didn’t happen for him.
He was a winner in France, he’s done everything we’ve asked of him at home but he has to go here with a question mark. We’ll find out how good he is here.
