Coral ambassador previews the Tizzard yard’s weekend runners

Market Rasen 12.20 – Sizing Cusimano

Sizing Cusimano has been running well this season, with a good second at Wincanton on his latest run. He’s also won around Market Rasen, and he’s competitive in these 0-125, 0-130 races, so this looks a nice race for him to have a chance in hopefully.

Warwick 13.50 – Fiddlerontheroof

Fiddlerontheroof is another who’s been running well all season, winning once and finishing second to good sorts on his other three runs. We’re really looking forward to stepping him up to three miles, he’s been consistent over shorter distances but we’re hoping this step up in trip will bring about the improvement he needs to step up at this level. He’ll love the ground and he jumps for fun, and we’re excited about running him over this trip.

Warwick 14.25 – Oscar Elite

Our other Graded runner at Warwick is Oscar Elite in a wide open Leamington Novices’ Hurdle. He’s done nothing wrong this season and is two from two in novice hurdles, which has earned him a mark of 140, so he deserves to step up and take his chance in a race like this. You could say there are ten of them like him in this race, exciting novices stepping up in class, but we’re looking forward to the challenge and this will tell us where we are with him.

Market Rasen 14.40 – Vision Des Flos

It’s not always easy to predict how Vision Des Flos will run, but this is a new race the course has put on, and it looks ideal for him. He won a Grade 2 back in 2019, and there are few in this race in the same boat as him, good horses but not quite top class, and still quite harshly handicapped. Dropping back in trip over hurdles should suit him, hopefully he’ll run quite well, we saw this race a while back and thought it would be ideal for him.

Joe.
