Jim Crowley: “Jeremiah can win again if things go his way”

Coral ambassador on his Saturday rides at Ascot

Ascot 12:40 – Laneqash

I don’t know too much about Laneqash but I understand that he’s going nicely at home.

His dam was a winner and he has a nice pedigree so he should run a decent race.

It’s always hard to know with unraced two-year-olds.

Ascot 13:15 – Jadwal

Jadwal won last time out at Newmarket but I didn’t ride him that day.

He put in a decent performance last time so he should go well again here. I’d be hopeful of a very good run.

Ascot 13:50 – Hamish Macbeth

I haven’t ridden Hamish Macbeth before. He was a winner at two and bits and bobs of form this term.

He ran third last time so hopefully can build on that. He’ll need to though as The Other Side finished ahead of him that day and re-opposes again here.

Ascot 14:25 – Jalaad

Jalaad won last time out at York. The headgear is back on again today and he will definitely have a very good chance in this race.

He’s one of my best chances on the card.

Ascot 15:00 – Kaloor

Kaloor has tried a number of trips. He’s now stepping up a bit in trip and ran well over the distance last time out.

He is a horse with plenty of ability and should stay this trip well.

Ascot 15:35 – Jeremiah

Jeremiah is a massive horse and he only just managed to win last time when I rode him.

He came to win his race and I thought he would win it well, but he pulled himself up when he hit the front and won the race in a photo.

There’s loads of ability to be had, but things need to fall right for him and he doesn’t want to hit the front too soon. I will try and ride him for luck.

He can win again if things go his way.

Ascot 16:10 – Al Madhar

Al Madhar ran in the Dante last time so he was highly tried but he has some decent form.

He is back in handicap company and conceding weight all round but we do like him, and he is a very smart horse.
