Betting hots up on a Spice Girls reunion

Punters are lining-up to back a Spice Girls reunion according to bookmaker Coral, following rumours that they are back in the studio. The firm have chalked the girls up at even money to get back together by the end of next year, while they are also taking bets on the group releasing new material.
It’s 4-1 that they top the charts with a new single before the end of 2017, while a number one album is a longer shot at 8-1. Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham has been priced at 10-1 to be a part of the reunion.
“The rumours are rife surrounding a Spice Girls reunion and judging by the bets we’ve taken, we believe that there is truth to the rumours,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
“Following a rush of bets in recent days, we have been forced to slash the odds on a comeback happening sooner rather than later,” added McGeady.
