Coral’s bet of the day

  • Two teams have drawn in each of last five seasons they’ve met in
  • Saints and Hammers next to each other in Premier League table
  • Both have tasted draws in recent matches

Southampton and West Ham both draw at 13/5

In Coral’s latest edition of the bet of the day, you can back both Southampton and West Ham United to draw their Saturday evening Premier League clash.

Terrific odds of 13/5 say that result will occur, and so read on to find out why you should back this brilliant bet…

Both the Saints and Hammers have drawn exactly once in each of the last five seasons that they’ve have played each other in and, with the latter having already won in the reverse fixture this season, another share of the spoils is on the cards going by history.

In fact, the last three head-to-heads at St Mary’s have incredibly all also ended in stalemates (0-0, 0-0 and 1-1).

Close encounter on cards again

On top of that, the two teams currently sit right next to each other in the Premier League table, with West Ham just ahead in sixth place with a five point lead.

The Hammers also come into this battle on the back of drawing two of their last three matches in all competitions, to Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round and Manchester City in the top flight.

Southampton, meanwhile, carved out a 0-0 result in their most recent duel in the league against Arsenal at the Emirates, so it is certainly going to difficult to split the duo.

Even their last encounter, earlier this season at Upton Park in late December, was a closely fought affair, as West Ham needed a late goal through Andy Carroll to claim a 2-1 victory.

So, what are you waiting for loyal punters? Grab these amazing odds of 13/5 while you can.
