Coral’s bet of the day

  • Wright racked up seven 180s last time out, the highest per player on the night
  • That haul occurred as Snakebite thrashed Taylor 7-4
  • The Scot next requires a win against Wade to keep qualification hopes alive
  • Wright has nabbed most 180s of a matchweek three times this term, having hit 44 overall

Wright 4/1 to be player that scores most 180s in Manchester

Thursday can only mean one thing – Premier League Darts action. The coveted competition is coming down to the crunch with the penultimate round of phase two occurring at Manchester Arena before a trip to Rotterdam and play-offs week at the O2 Arena commence.

There is still all to play for, which is why semi-final spot hopeful Peter Wright makes our pick for bet of the day, with an excellent week 14 special wager of 4/1 available for Snakebite to score the most maximums of any player on the night.

Read on to see why we have singled out the Scot as he faces James Wade in a wrangle that could decide both their fates…

Snakebite boasts 180 excellence

It may or may not surprise some punters to know that exuberant arrowsmith Wright is actually second top scorer of 180s in the 2016 Premier League Darts, having so far hit 44 – more than all-time great Phil Taylor who has been top of the table for much of this term and also world champ Gary Anderson.

Snakebite also seems to play best with his back against the wall as, the Scotsman has ranked first (or joint first) for most maximums on three nights of the tournament so far, with two of those occurring against big-gun Taylor.

And now Wright faces a must-win wrangle against James Wade, which should push his performance levels up another notch, as he hopes to crash the top four party.

Buoyed after beating The Power 7-4 last week, hitting a night high seven 180s along the way, Snakebite will seek another superstar performance against The Machine, who he also outclassed 7-4 earlier in the season. So, at 4/1 Wright looks fantastic value to be the best Thursday flutter and notch most maximums in Manchester!
