Bet of the Day: Sheffield United to take a step towards the play-offs
Published:There could be goals at the KCOM
Sheffield United have a great chance to climb into the play-off spots when they travel to Hull City tonight.
The Blades are two points off Bristol City in sixth, with two games in hand.
However, they’ve found it tough on the road recently. Chris Wilder’s side haven’t won five of their last six away games in the Championship. They’ve also failed to keep a clean sheet in 11 league away trips.
Despite that, the Coral News Team think they’ve got enough to beat a struggling Hull side. Their Bet of the Day is Sheffield United and Both Teams to Score at 9/2.
Friday night fiesta
The South Yorkshire club won the reverse fixture 4-1 in November. And there have been at least five goals in each of the last three games between the two clubs.
Hull might only be above the relegation zone on goal difference, but they’ve scored 30 league goals at home this term. Only Wolves (35) and Aston Villa (31) have bagged more goals in front of their own fans. But just three sides have conceded more at home (23).
Clarke to torment Hull again?
Leon Clarke was the undisputed star of the show in United’s 4-1 win over the Tigers earlier this season. He got all four of the home side’s goals in a sensational display.
He’s gone through a quiet patch recently, but he could start firing again here.
