Coral’s bet of the day

  • Robin van Persie has 16 goals this season for Fenerbahce
  • The Dutchman will look to continue form in last league game before cup final
  • Van Persie has notched six times in his previous five outings
  • He has dispatched the last goal in four of his past five appearances
  • Opponents Sivasspor sit in relegation zone going into final day

Van Persie 9/2 to strike last goal

Former Manchester United hitman Robin van Persie will take to current club Fenerbahce’s final Turkish Super Lig game of the season against Sivasspor hoping to continue his rampant run of form, and he can be backed at 9/2 as Coral’s bet of the day to strike last this time out.

The deadly Dutchman endured a tough start to life in Turkey but he has been flying of late and has recaptured that clinical eye for goal which previously saw him help the Red Devils reign supreme in the Premier League.

With a Turkish Cup final on the horizon against bitter domestic rivals Galatasaray, Van Persie will aim to maintain his scoring streak against a side set to be relegated and go into that upcoming encounter in fine form.

Rampant Van Persie to net last again

The Yellow Canaries’ prolific frontman has bagged an impressive 16 goals for the current campaign, as well as a Euro 2016 qualifying strike for the Netherlands last year, and his rampant form doesn’t bode well for Sivasspor, who are on the verge of dropping down divisions.

Van Persie will have the summer off this year with his country having failed to qualify for France, but his recent sublime streak of six goals in five outings can help him end club duties on a high.

The former Arsenal and Man Utd attacker has bagged the last goal in four of his past five appearances for Fenerbahce as well, making his odds of 9/2 to repeat that feat this time around an unmissable price this Thursday night!
