Bet of the day: Juventus hitman Higuain to bag brace or more against Udinese
Published:Coral’s bet of the day
- Higuain bagged a brace in his previous league outing
- The Old Lady netted seven across their last two games
- Juve’s new hitman Higuain scored 38 in 42 games last term
Higuain 5/2 to a bag brace or more against Udinese
Many questioned Gonzalo Higuain’s move to Juventus for £76m, but he soon silenced the doubters and is banging in the goals for the reigning Serie A champions.
The French-born Argentina striker netted a huge 38 goals in 42 games last term, and is well on track to emulating that magnificent feat by finding the net six times in only seven league games so far this season.
Higuain scored two or more in a game 10 times last term and has already repeated the feat twice so far this campaign, with the latest coming in his last Juve outing, where he hit a hat-trick. This makes Coral’s 5/2 (£/€20 max stake) special on the striker netting two or more superb value.
Juve going goals galore
It isn’t just Higuain finding the net, however. The Turin side have put seven past opposition goalkeepers in their last two league games.
Massimiliano Allegri’s outfit sit comfortably top of Serie A by four points and have only dropped points in one league game all season – meaning they are well on their way to a sixth consecutive Scudetto.
Juventus have scored two or more five times this term, which looks ominous for visitors Udinese.
The Udine outfit lost this fixture 4-0 last term at the Dacia Arena and have a poor recent record when it comes to facing the Old Lady.
Juventus have only lost once in the last 10 encounters between the two and Udinese are struggling in the league.
The Little Zebras possess one of the worst defensive records in the division, conceding 12 in only seven league games – a stat that should have Higuain, who has scored six Serie A goals in seven games, itching to lace up his boots.
